Malmö, 11 May 2024. Nemo became the first non-binary artist to win, with The Code — 591 points, Switzerland's third victory and its first since Céline Dion in 1988. The performance passed twenty million views on YouTube within a fortnight.
Malmö Arena, 7–11 May. A contest staged under heavy security and heavy argument, and remembered for a winner who sang about breaking a code in three languages.
